Colpa d'Alfredo The "Tigelle Romagnole": our history is speaking.
First of all we would like to reassure our friends and customers of Modena City, as well as guardians of the productions of the tradition “Slow Food Ferrara” (with whom we held the evening of interesting knowledge and taste), we're not trying to claim a paternity that we do not compete . The “Tigella Modenese”, is originally from Modena. The randomness, however, has created an interesting historical event. In 1925, in Casola Valsenio, a nice little city nestled in a valley between mountains that lead from Romagna to Tuscany, my maternal grandmother Anna Poli, has had the audacity to create your own blend of flour, water, oil, salt, etc, .., without using lard or fat. The result was so good and soon the fragrant of “Tigelle della Nonna Anna”, became a reference point in all family meeting. I have had to wait decades to sample the unique fragrance. Today I own a restaurant, I thought that the tradition of family “Tigelle della Nonna Anna” should live again.
